Notes on turning a HP Z400 into a Mac Pro 5,1 Sierra The HP Z400 that I am running has a a Intel Xeon 3.2 GHz quad core chip in it. The Z400 is a workstation with a Quad Core Xeon Nehalem Processor. It has 12 gigs of Non ECC Ram on it. It uses a SSD 500g Samsung Hard Drive, though it works well with a cheaper SanDisk SDD as well. This matches most closely to a 2010 Mac Pro 5,1 in the Clover SMBIOS settings. And it seems to do very well in that mode. I have two Raedeon RX 560 cards which work well with Sierra 10.12.6 and High Sierra 10.13.6.
